Joshua Shields

Joshua has had many years as a consulting professional and is also a founding Director of RiskLogic.  He is a subject matter expert in business continuity, crisis and emergency management with experience working across a broad range of industries. These include financial and professional services, education, community services, IT & telecommunications, utilities, infrastructure and all levels of government.

Beginning his risk management career in insurance, he then moved into direct consulting working with small to medium enterprise as well as large blue chip organisations in the private and public sector.

Joshua is responsible for the business development and client engagement strategy for the firm and provides oversight on major client projects. He is a highly experienced project manager with numerous successful end-to-end business continuity projects to his credit. Recent clients include Medicare Australia, Transurban Limited, Interlink Roads, Department of Human Services, NSW TAFE and Credit Union Australia.  He is also a member of the Business Continuity Institute.

Furthermore, Joshua has an extensive background in volunteer emergency services as a senior rescue officer in the SES.  His practical expertise includes unit and logistics management, rescue operations and emergency, crisis and rescue training.
