RiskLogic is pleased to announce the recent hire of four new Business Continuity and Crisis Management Consultants.

I can say with confidence that RiskLogic now has one of the largest, most competent and furthest reaching dedicated business continuity and crisis management consulting teams across Australia and New Zealand” says Director, Daniel Shields.
RiskLogic welcomes Simon Petie (Brisbane), Gary Vogel (Melbourne), Trent Clouston (Sydney) and Leon Israel (Sydney) to the team. The four seasoned professionals all have practical field experience combined with corporate and operational engagement expertise, further providing the opportunity for RiskLogic to service more areas of the market and build our local geographic footprint.
Simon Petite comes to RiskLogic with a wealth of experience in crisis and incident management, following a 15-year career in the Department of Defence. He has worked throughout Australia and the Middle East, including experience being deployed in a leadership and operations role to both Iraq and Afghanistan with the Australian Army. Most recently Simon has been working in the area of training and development which makes him uniquely suited to join the RiskLogic consulting team.
Gary Vogel has over 13 years’ experience in Senior risk management and business resilience positions in the financial services sector working for leading global Insurance brands. Gary has been instrumental in building strategies and driving initiatives that have transitioned focus from business continuity to broader resilience, which have directly impacted the organisation’s customer value proposition.
Gary is a true change driver with proven collaboration skills who has successfully influenced executive and senior management decision making through confident leadership and strong relationship skills. He excels in facilitation and delivery and has extensive experience in managing teams and a passion for motivating those he works with.
Trent Clousten brings over 20 years’ emergency management, incident management and business continuity experience to RiskLogic, gained primarily within the NSW Police Force. He was an Academic Associate at Charles Sturt University while training first response police in Operational Safety and Tactics. He has been facilitating Incident and Emergency Management courses and enhancing the capability of first responders and Incident Management Teams over this time. Most recently, his role in NSW Police Emergency Management Unit saw him involved in strategic development of policy across State Government and development of NSW Police’s business continuity program. Trent also brings unique, firsthand experience within emergencies, operationally Trent was deployed to Victoria and Queensland in response to large events, notably, the 2009 Victorian Bushfires where he played an active role.
Leon Israel has a keen passion for people, technology and risk. He began his career in Telstra retail, focusing on customer management leading into technical support and advice followed by several years in leadership and training, for Telstra and more recently with leading Australian online retailer, Appliances Online. Leon has focused his tertiary education in Computing/IT and Security & Counter Terrorism. Additionally, Leon has been involved for over a decade in the Security Industry focusing on large event management, event planning and training of new & existing security personnel.

The RiskLogic Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Lauren Kirk to Marketing Coordinator and Ollie Law to Commercial Marketing Manager for RiskLogic and FirstAction.
Lauren became qualified and worked for a number of years in sales and marketing, starting her career in the UK working within the medical industry. She then began a one year campaign for Gap360 and received a highly commended award from the Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing for her proposal pitch at Google Headquarters in London. Most recently in Australia, Lauren worked for Telstra and within the corporate events industry where she coordinated B2B and B2C marketing efforts.
Ollie began to dive into the marketing world through the music business throughout Australasia & the UK over the last eight years. More recently he worked for the UK’s largest Accounting website, accountingWEB where he designed and coordinated major campaigns for the likes of Xero, Sage, Microsoft and Intuit. Now back in New Zealand, outside of RiskLogic he runs his own digital marketing Agency focusing on the SME market.
