Emergency Management Kit
RiskLogic will provide a practical Emergency Management Kit to be used by Chief Warden/s. It includes a response plan with procedures covering possible emergencies such as fire, bomb threat and medical emergencies to name a few. The kit also contains site specific contacts, emergency details, checklists, logs and warden teams in a practical quick reference card format.
Handbook for Wardens
Each identified Warden will also receive a Warden handbook that summaries the key response procedures and emergency information relevant to the organisation, including important contact details, warden responsibilities, premises details and location of assembly areas.
Evacuation Maps and Building Signage
RiskLogic will provide all the required evacuation maps for your site for display in common areas. The evacuation maps contain the layout of the building, location of fire equipment, exits, assembly areas and egress routes. All maps are oriented with a “You are here” sign to ensure ease of use and basic procedures to enable a fast evacuation.
Warden Evacuation & Fire Training
Wardens involved in the organisation’s emergency response structure must be equipped with the awareness, knowledge and practical skills to perform their specific roles. RiskLogic provides a structured 3 hour session for Wardens, covering:
- OHS requirements and legislation.
- Site specific requirements & building safety.
- Roles and responsibilities.
- Fire safety and prevention measures.
- Evacuation and assembly priorities and procedures.
- Fire, bomb threats, lock down and other emergencies.
- Basic principals of fire and identifying correct fire extinguishers.
- First attack fire fighting (practical use of extinguishers).
Emergency Awareness Session
RiskLogic will facilitate a structured 45 minute awareness session to provide relevant staff with an overview of the procedures in place and the processes required in an emergency. This provides potential life saving information and an opportunity for staff to learn from our experts on a six monthly basis. Sessions are facilitated onsite by RiskLogic’s professional training team.
Evacuation Exercise
RiskLogic will facilitate a full evacuation drill following Warden Evacuation and Fire Training. We provide the scenario and structure of the drill, observe the effectiveness of the response and provide constructive feedback in the form of debriefs and a drill report.
Online Access & Scheduling
As a RiskLogic client, you will be provided with secure online access to all Warden registers, training logs and procedure documentation via the RiskLogic website. RiskLogic will also provide ongoing training reminders and notifications prior to all training and exercises.
