Catalyst Technologies are pleased to announce that CQCommand has been awarded Risk Solution of the Year in the StrategicRisk Asia-Pacific Risk Management Awards 2019 recently held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Singapore.
Created in conjunction with RiskLogic consultants and their clients, Catalyst Technologies’ CQCommand is the product of 14 years of learnings, practices and training in crisis and incident management, factoring in thousands of training facilitation and simulation exercises, as well as dozens of real-life disasters. CQCommand is purpose built and thus, has gone through many product updates and releases since its 2015 launch.
About the StrategicRisk awards
“StrategicRISK has been celebrating innovation and excellence in risk management since 2003 and more than 100 organisations and individuals across Asia-Pacific, Europe and the Middle East have been recognised for their important contributions to the risk management industry. The Asia-Pacific Awards are an important way to recognise and reward organisations and individuals who can demonstrate they have gone the extra mile in 2018 to introduce or improve their risk management strategies in the region.” says StrategicRISK Asia-Pacific publisher William Sanders.
The awards are independently judged by risk experts with nominees going through a two step judging process – the second being an interview with a separate panel of risk management experts.
Crisis intelligence at your fingertips
The Catalyst Technologies team has invested years of hard work, dedication and ongoing innovation to ensure CQCommand continues to deliver on its purpose in the ever-changing threat environment. This value was clearly demonstrated during the tragic event in Christchurch on 15 March. The Crisis and Incident Management tool – CQCommand provided our client with visibility of the attack as it was unfolding, enabling them to effectively respond and send mass communications to their Christchurch based team to ensure their safety and well-being. The use of CQCommand during this event was presented during the second round of judging which essentially set the crisis tool as the clear winner of this award.
Outside of a large scale terror attack, CQCommand is being used regularly by our clients to manage crisis incidents. However, discretion and client confidentiality means we don’t generally discuss situations where CQCommand is activated, so it is highly momentous for an Australian-based start up to be recognised for this Asia-Pacific award.
The Risk solution of the year award is just one notch on the belt for Catalyst Technologies. As functionality in the online crisis and incident management tool grows, we’re confident more industry recognition is on the horizon.
